issues

An issue is a topic that is debated, such as government spending, pollution from fossil fuels, or bias in news coverage. College writing assignments often ask you to write about an issue and offer your own stance based on research and thoughtful observation or reflection.

In addition, most say there are serious problems with gun violence, the economy and drug addiction.
