Entertaiment is the broadest category of activities and entertainment, which includes anything from professional storytelling to games of chance. It can be a form of play for children; an activity that mimics adult behaviour and prepares them for child raising or social interaction; or a means to learn social skills or develop motor skills. It can be found in any medium and can have a powerful impact when it crosses over to another medium, such as the way that Scheherazade-the famous story from Persian professional storytelling tradition-inspired the composers Rimsky-Korsakov, Ravel and Szymanowski, the director Pasolini and an innovative video game.
